Before Christmas, The T family "kicked off their fun, old-fashioned family Christmas by heading out into the country in the old front-wheel drive sleigh to embrace the frosty majesty of the winter landscape and select that most important of Christmas symbols." Okay, so maybe that was the Griswolds, but you get the point. (Also, one of my favorite quotes from any movie.) I ventured along for a lifestyle session of their family choosing their tree and threw in a few portraits to go along with their fun family activity.
Their little ones were so full of energy and I loved capturing their free moments. We trenched through the field of trees, as the wind whipped through the air and the horses grazed in their places. I loved capturing these raw moments of them just enjoying each other and enjoying their time at the farm. The scenery at Litchfield Tree Farm is absolutely stunning and the views will take your breath away. I cannot wait to work with this family again in the spring and seeing what kind of magic can be created!
