Amanda has had this perfect spot planned out for a few weeks, so when the day came, I packed up my equipment and ventured down to the Herkimer Home in Little Falls. I've shot here before and the location never disappoints. We arrived a few hours before sunset and the bright orange and yellow tones from the sun were making the trees dazzle with their array of fall colors.
We took advantage of a cute little bench that was conveniently placed in front of a wood of trees, then frolicked over by the Herkimer monument, and enjoyed the large grassy grounds. I always love photographing little Wally because he has the most infectious smile and laugh. I had to really keep up the pace following him and he was so dapper in his little overalls. Walt and Amanda always make my photos look good (umm, hello Amandas gorgeous red hair is amazing!) I just have a wonderful time with this family.
The leaves are falling and before we know it winter will be in full effect and I don't hate it. Stay tuned for info on winter sessions, because I hate to waste a perfectly fun season of snowy goodness! ;)
